What We Believe..
OAKRIDGE STATEMENT OF FAITH
1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, and authoritative word of God.
2. We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in
His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to
the right hand of the Father, and in His personal tangible return in power and in glory.
4. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful men, regeneration by the Holy Spirit
is absolutely essential. Such regeneration occurs by God’s grace and involves repentance
from sin and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to
live a godly life.
6. We believe in the resurrection of the body of the saved and lost; they that are saved unto the
resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
7. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Christ.
OAKRIDGE PHILOSOPHY
SUPPORTIVE OF THE LOCAL CHURCH - it is our desire to support local churches.
(NON) DENOMINATIONAL – we are not affiliated with any one Christian group or denomination, but rather
choose to be open to true believers from various Christian perspectives. Our background is generally
Southern Baptist / Independent Bible church.
OPEN - we are open to considering ALL groups using Oakridge. However, we will always reserve the
right to refuse service to any group or individual we choose for whatever reason we deem appropriate.
Reasons for refusal might include lifestyles, which are inconsistent with our doctrine and philosophy.

Oakridge Christian Camp & Retreat Center exists to provide summer camp, year-round retreat, and local
ministry opportunities for people of all ages, with the goals of introducing each person to the saving
grace of Jesus Christ, teaching each person the Word of God, and providing Christian ministry and

Ministries, Inc., d.b.a. Oakridge Community Church and Brian Ball Ministries.
