| What are Full Time Staff? Full Time Staff are families, couples or single adults that live and work at Oakridge Christian Camp. They receive lodging, utilities, phone, salary, as well as some meals and some transportation. Depending upon experience and abilities, areas of responsibility can include: administration, recreation, program, maintenance, renovation, office assistance, food service, housekeeping, landscaping, child care, sales and marketing. What are Interns? Interns are young adults that make a commitment to live and serve at Oakridge, generally for one year. Summer Staff are youth and young adults that make a commitment to work at Oakridge during the summer months (approximately 10 weeks). They receive lodging, meals and salary. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: kitchen & food service, maintenance, housekeeping, landscaping, recreation, office, snack shack, concessions, summer camp counseling, program, music, communication, etc. - depending on gifts, abilities, & experience. Also, discipleship training, Bible study & memorization is included. |
Oakridge offers YOU a tremendous opportunity to live on a Christian
camp property and involve yourself in a camp ministry, serving
campers and retreat guests in various ways. Oakridge has staff
families that reside on site, as well as a church fellowship that meets
weekly, and other adults and teens that are employed part-time. Most
staff reside at Oakridge Camp; all staff attend Oakridge Community
Church.

SUMMER STAFF QUALIFICATIONS:
You must be a committed Christian who wants to serve the Lord; willing to work
hard; must generally be available from Memorial Day weekend through August
16th. Oakridge understands that some staffers may need a few weeks off for their
summer commitments. We try to accommodate.
