Oakridge provides a great place for your next church, group, or corporate retreat. It's the perfect
place to get away and relax in a Christian environment designed to facilitate your spiritual growth. We can offer a
custom-tailored program to your group for any length of time, all year round. During the summer months, Oakridge hosts
a series of camps. These camps are designed not only for an outrageously fun time, but to share the gospel and a time
of spiritual growth with America's youth. Oakridge summer campers generally range in age from 6 - 18 and are presented
with a custom tailored program directed toward their age range.Oakridge also sponsors retreats for specific groups
throughout the year. In 2008, Oakridge began to sponsor retreats for men, women, couples, families, ministers, youth
and young adults.
At Oakridge, we believe that the sharing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with people of all ages is
paramount. The beautiful facilities of Oakridge are nestled along red sandstone ridges in a rustic, rural setting.
The tree-covered hills of the property overlook a valley with cattle grazing in lush green fields bordering the Washita
River.
The camp is located in the Indian capitol of the nation and is indeed a reminder of the beauty of
God’s creation. Oakridge, set on over 55 acres (with 15 additional acres for hiking and paintball), has 34 buildings:
6 staff houses, 6 lodges, 2 fully-enclosed chapels, 2 large dining halls, gift shop, our fully-stocked Snack Shack,
RV sites, cabins and bathhouses. Our air-conditioned dining hall and well-equipped kitchen provides food second to none.
Above the dining hall are 22 air-conditioned private rooms with three-quarter bathrooms. With these and other lodge
accommodations for boys, girls, singles, couples and families, Oakridge can house up to 440 campers at one time.
Our 5 air-conditioned and heated lodges lend themselves to both summer and winter groups.
The mild winters allow us to offer events year-round. Recreational activities include such things
as paintball, jumbo slip-n-slide, rappelling, climbing wall and power bounces, go-karts, archery, riflery, and
campfire; plus a large indoor area with air hockey and other table games, including pool tables. Our 30' x 50'
swimming pool has a slide, diving board, sunbathing deck, and a 10-man hot tub. A high elements ropes course
is only 20 minutes away. Oakridge offers a complete water sports package at nearby Ft. Cobb lake which includes
skiing, tubing, sailing, parasailing, windsurfing, and canoeing. Some will enjoy climbing the steep hillside trails,
while others are attracted to the warmth of an evening fire.
In 2008, we added Oakridge West. This rustic camp provides lodging for up to 60, as well as M&W
outdoor bathhouses, a comfortable chapel with stage, and a dining hall. The dining hall may be used by groups to prepare
their own meals or as a meeting room. Group selecting this lodging option save about 50% on their lodging. The standard
Oakridge meal and activity packages are also available.
With remodeled and newly added facilities, Oakridge is rapidly gaining popularity as a fine Christian
camp with great food. Make Oakridge your choice for summer camp, retreats, planning sessions, family reunions, banquets
or other special events. Oakridge is owned and operated as a non-denominational church ministry. All groups willing to
abide by Oakridges' policies and guidelines are welcome!
Oakridge Ministries, Inc, is organized as a church in Oklahoma,
fulfilling its church vision and mission primarily through: believers
living in community together; Oakridge Christian Camp and Retreat
Center; ACORN Christian Child Care Center; and International Bible
Conference in the Philippines. Oakridge also has regular worship
meetings where guests are invited to attend. Meetings occur most
every morning Monday through Friday at 8:30 AM at the church camp main
dining hall. Meetings include prayer, praise and worship, fellowship,
and teaching. Brian Ball, an ordained minister, is also available for
prayer and counseling, as well as serving in the presentation of the
Lord's Supper and baptism. During the summer, religious meetings are
held practically every morning and evening during camp. Schedules, a
full listing of events, a list of speakers and musicians, and
itineraries are available to interested potential guests.
Additionally, the residents of Oakridge Camp are involved with other
fellowships in the community, serving and reaching out to them. For a
statement of Oakridge beliefs, please see the Oakridge Statement of
Faith under our downloads.
